Puppy update

So, to make a long story short Bailey is doing better- with medication. After longer observation it became evident that Bailey could not comfortably lay down- hence the pacing and he was in pain- the panting. We began giving him pain medication on Friday night and he has been much better ever since. He is on a ten day supply of dog ibuprofen. We have our fingers crossed that he pulled a muscle or did something minor that will heal while he is resting on medication. Unfortunately, we have no idea what happened to cause this and hope there is a reason and not just that his hip displaysia or spinal chord injury is acting up. The thought of him being in pain and needing medicine indefinitely is not a good one- so we are praying he gets back to his usual - mostly healthy - self soon.
