Take a virtual tour

I just realized that the builder for our house has a virtual tour of our exact house on their web site. We bought the old model, and they kept the same virtual tour even though they are in a new one. I am bad at disguising links, so here is the long link to follow.

They took down the wallpaper in the kitchen, but other than that the house is the same.

Three more days

In three days we will call this place home. We took a photo when we visited over the weekend.

Over the weekend we went north to Thomasville to look at furniture. We were disappointed in the furniture we saw, but we did get to see the Thomasville chair- which I just realized I did not download, but you are not missing too much not seeing it.

Saturday we leave for the Sonoma Valley for the week. I am looking forward to flying into San Francisco and seeing the city. I have never been to CA before. If anyone has any tourist spots to see in the San Fran area or north in the Sonoma Valley that are must sees please let me know.

Finally I post

I have arrived in North Carolina, but since it has been ages since I posted here is a recap...

Life in NJ was very hectic. I spent most days running around like a maniac. There are never enough hours in the day. Here is a photo of me making dinner, and talking on the phone to my mom after going to the gym... Hopefully, the craziness that we experienced the entire time we were in Jersey we have left behind. MW left for NC a few weeks before me and he took the pups in the car with him. They took the 11 hour journey in stride. Here the pups are oblivious to the new life that awaits them...
These two happy faces could not have landed in a better place. They are being absolutely spoiled with attention since arriving at their "grandparents" house! They don't seem to miss their old home at all. They have grass in NC. This is Bailey old playground...
I stayed behind to keep working and do fun things like clean the house. When the time came for me to head south I had to ship my car. Here is coop on her last day in Jersey. She should arrive in NC this coming week. I can't wait.
So, I said my goodbyes for now to my home and headed south...
On my first full day in NC we headed south to the Pottery Barn furniture outlet to look for the Chesapeake Collection patio furniture. We did find some of the pieces and will keep going back until we have gotten all the pieces we want. We were told the patio stuff is just beginning to arrive in the outlets. On our drive in SC we saw this...
In case you can't see it that well here is a close up...

Can someone please explain why there is a Georgia peach in northern south carolina? I am a little confused.
Anyway, that is the recap so far. I have a great new camera and will be better at posting with photos going forward. The past few days I have been searching for jobs and somehow passing the time. Today we went and walked through our new house. We close next Thursday and then next Saturday we head to Sonoma for a week! Fun times ahead...stay posted.

I have been out of the blogging world for over a week- sorry. The home internet is down and I was off of work for the past five days! I headed to MA for Easter for some time with Mom. I also managed to see Alicia and Kathy which was great considering I had not seen them since July. I failed on the photo front and did not use my camera once, but I promise that come Saturday I will turn over a new leaf- Saturday I am heading south! I will have internet access and will definitely take some photos. Until then I am a bore. Sorry.

Drum Roll please...

I am resigning from my job today! Yippeeeee. It is much anticipated, long awaited, and overdue. Now if I could only get face time in my bosses office to give notice! The search is on for work in the south and I already received one call back from an online application. Yes, the end is in sight.

We also had our first open house over the weekend with two "very interested" parties. Keep your fingers crossed that we get this house sold quick!
