Finally I post

I have arrived in North Carolina, but since it has been ages since I posted here is a recap...

Life in NJ was very hectic. I spent most days running around like a maniac. There are never enough hours in the day. Here is a photo of me making dinner, and talking on the phone to my mom after going to the gym... Hopefully, the craziness that we experienced the entire time we were in Jersey we have left behind. MW left for NC a few weeks before me and he took the pups in the car with him. They took the 11 hour journey in stride. Here the pups are oblivious to the new life that awaits them...
These two happy faces could not have landed in a better place. They are being absolutely spoiled with attention since arriving at their "grandparents" house! They don't seem to miss their old home at all. They have grass in NC. This is Bailey old playground...
I stayed behind to keep working and do fun things like clean the house. When the time came for me to head south I had to ship my car. Here is coop on her last day in Jersey. She should arrive in NC this coming week. I can't wait.
So, I said my goodbyes for now to my home and headed south...
On my first full day in NC we headed south to the Pottery Barn furniture outlet to look for the Chesapeake Collection patio furniture. We did find some of the pieces and will keep going back until we have gotten all the pieces we want. We were told the patio stuff is just beginning to arrive in the outlets. On our drive in SC we saw this...
In case you can't see it that well here is a close up...

Can someone please explain why there is a Georgia peach in northern south carolina? I am a little confused.
Anyway, that is the recap so far. I have a great new camera and will be better at posting with photos going forward. The past few days I have been searching for jobs and somehow passing the time. Today we went and walked through our new house. We close next Thursday and then next Saturday we head to Sonoma for a week! Fun times ahead...stay posted.

Yes, the big butt of a peach is always a favorite driving down to Georgia. Little known fact: SC actually produces MORE peaches than GA. Maybe the giant peach butt is there to rub that in.
